International Booker Prize 2022 shortlist announced
We're delighted to see Jon Fosse shortlisted for this year's International Booker Prize!
The finalists were announced during the London Book Fair, their books all explore trauma, whether on an individual or societal level. The winner will be announced on May 26th, 2022.
Jon Fosse is nominated for the last installment of his Septology series, A New Name (Septology VI-VII), published by Fitzcarraldo in September 2021: "a transcendent exploration of the human condition and a radically ‘other’ reading experience - incantatory, hypnotic, and utterly unique".
Last year La Nave di Teseo published the Italian edition of The Other Name (Septology I-II), which was longlisted for the International Booker Prize 2020. We represent the Norwegian author on behalf of agent Gina Winje.
