Peace Prize 2018

The Peace Prize of the German Book Trade  2018 goes to German literature and cultural studies professor Aleida Assmann and her husband, the Egyptologist Jan Assmann. 

The award ceremony will take place at the Church of St. Paul in Frankfurt on Sunday, October 14^th.

The Peace Prize has been awarded since 1950 and is endowed with a sum of €25,000 (US$29,363).
