Suhrkamp Verlag turns 70!
On July 1st,1950, Peter Suhrkamp founded the Suhrkamp Verlag in Berlin, which soon moved to Frankfurt (and since 2009 is back in Berlin).
One of the first publishing houses to reopen in the Bundesrepublik, it was for twenty years the BRD publishing house, also thanks to the contribution of Siegfried Unseld (1924-2002).
