Nobel Prize in Literature 2023 to Jon Fosse
It is with great excitement that we join the Winje Agency in celebrating Norwegian writer and playwright Jon Fosse as this year's Nobel Prize in Literature!
The prize has been awarded to Fosse "for his innovative plays and prose which give voice to the unsayable".
In Italy his books are published by La Nave di Teseo. Elisabetta Sgarbi, editorial director, commented: "Fosse was one of the first authors we acquired with the publishing house from the Berla and Griffini literary agency [...] Fosse is an author of ghosts, of doubles, of invisible things, of life and death, of essential things. A total author, a man of theatre, of prose, for children, devoted to the God of literature."
La Nave di Teseo published Mattino e sera (2019) and L'altro nome. Settologia vol. 1-2 (2021). Io è un altro. Settologia vol. 3-5 is out on October 10 and the publisher also acquired rights to Trilogy (Andvake, Olavs Draumar, Kveldsvævd).
